PhyMedica Physician Solutions is a unique physician owned service organization in Richmond Virginia providing a state of the art Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, Practice Management System and Professional Billing Services to physicians and practices around the country. The PhyMedica EMR is a notch above its competition. It is designed to be used with a lightweight tablet, but will work on desktops/laptops as well. Using a graphical representation of the human body, the physician can drill down from the epidermis to the muscular-skeletal level of the body and select the treatment area. After making a few entries from drop-down tables and lists, the system, using the natural language generator, generates a report similar to the one a physician would dictate in a chart. The graphical interface guides the physician through a natural set of steps to perform during the examination, similar to the way in which paper records are used. With 4,500 templates of known medical conditions and 260,000 findings for those medical conditions, the product is robust enough to satisfy the most demanding physician. The partners are investors in Phymedica and are assisting to identify client and VAR opportunities.
